Hort Park

We were idling away at home and hb suggested that we bring Amadeus to Hort Park since we got nothing to do. So off we go and when we reached there, it was abt 5pm plus. A good time to go as it was not hot at all. Amadeus had fun running around the grass patch, watching the kois in the pond and playing at the playground. It will be more fun for him if the kids there are willing to play wif him. Amadeus keep wanting to join them but they don't want him to be part of their group :(

At one point, he saw that their frisbee was lying on the grass and he quickly took it and ran off...so funni....

Anyway, it was still nice to be out at the outdoor and we will definitely go back again and will be more prepared like bringing a ball along for Amadeus to play n some food n drinks :)

Amadeus saw the ger (wearing white shirt) on the see-saw n he also wan to join them but after the ger left, he quickly wanna get off also...

Another Childcare for Amadeus

I had been scouting around for a playgroup for Amadeus to go to and finally decided on one. But as Amadeus was sick, I kept putting it off till I received a call from a childcare to tell me that there is a vacancy in class and I can start him off from May.

After visiting the place n talking to the branch director, we will quite happy wif the school as well as the environment. Amadeus also seems to be very happy running ard the place and playing wif the toys. Thus, we made the pymt and also opt for a 2 weeks' trial to see how well Amadeus can adapt to the place.

Hopefully, this time round, Amadeus will be able to settle into the class quickly wif less fuss n crying...keeping my fingers crossed.

4 days in Childcare....

Hb and I decided to enrol Amadeus into a childcare before I gave birth to my 2nd boy, Andre. This is to enable me to have some free time to take care of Andre and also to let Amadeus be more independent and to learn more skills over there.

For the 1st day, he was ok as I was with him throughout. For the 2nd day, I left at about 10am and he cried till very badly n refused to eat his lunch. 3rd day, I stayed briefly and he cried on n off but he managed to participate in some of the activities. Again, he refused to eat his lunch as I was not there to feed him.

On the 4th day, something happened (long story) and we decided to pull Amadeus out of the childcare. And for 2-3 nites, he will wake up in the middle of the nite to cry. Guess he must be very traumatised by the whole experience.

Nevertheless, we will still be on the lookout for another childcare or playgroup for him to go to before the arrival of his lil bro.
