Happy Birthday, Daddy :)

Today was hb birthday and we decided to deposit Amadeus at my SIL's place so that we could have some time for ourselves. We went for lunch at Swenson, followed by a spa at Asmara Spa located in Bishan Park and finally a dinner at Chomp Chomp (didn't went for expensive lunch or dinner as hb craves for ice-cream and unhealthy food eg, BBQ stingray, Hokkien mee, satay etc).


We had a rather good time except for the spa as hb finds his therapist too rough and the massage was too hard for him to take but he kept quiet cos he wanna see how much harder the therapist can get...crazy rite? For me, I had quite a gd massage and felt refreshed after tat...but something unpleasant happened at the spa and I don't wish to elaborate. But if ever u wished to try out the spa there, better make known your intentions to them numerous times until they get it.

Shopping wif Amadeus

Today as i was feeling bored at home, I decided to bring Amadeus out shopping wif me. But we had to take the MRT as hb had driven the car to work. So our destination was Vivo City since it was along the North-East line. This is only the 2nd time that Amadeus took the MRT since he was born and he was quite curious abt the surrounding and even wanted to get down from my lap to walk.

We went from Vivo City to Plaza Singapura (PS) to get a pair of heels that I saw (Vivo' s branch didn't have any new stock so have to get it at PS) and Amadeus gave me hell on the MRT. This is because he wanna sleep but unable to as I forgotten to bring his favorite pillow out. So I just have to let him cried inside the stroller while I tried to pat him...This was so embarrassing as the train was crowded wif commuters and all of them were looking into my direction :(

Once we reached our stop, Amadeus stopped crying when I pushed his stroller and he finally fell asleep...Phew! I can finally shopped in peace and hb joined me soon after for dinner.

Ah Lim's Housewarming on 21st September 2008

We went to Ah Lim new place at Bedok. It is a nice 3 rm flat ideal for the 2 of them. Amadeus had fun playing with the adults and Janelle there. Janelle is getting cuter and she always took the initiative to hug Amadeus and even attempted to carry him. It was amusing to see that and also the way how they tried to imitate each other actions. We adults also had a great time catching up wif one another and I think the next gathering will be X'mas time already.

20th September 2008

We brought Amadeus to United Square for a haircut as well as to sign him up for a term at Growing Up Gifted (GUG).

As usual, he cried very badly when the stylist shaved him...but somehow, I felt tat this time is the worst...oh no....hoped he will be ok soon and won't develop a phobia from going to the hair saloon.

Finally, we managed to put a cap on him without him resisting by giving him a Yakult to play with...hee hee

I taught him how to do 'bang kiss' while in the car and he learnt it almost immediately...funni thing is, he always find it vey funni and will laugh out loud when he does the action...

We went home quite early in the evening as hb needs to attend a wedding dinner...

Amadeus new hobby now is to close any doors or drawers that are opened, even my laptop is not being spared - he would close my laptop if he saw that it was opened.

In this video, he walked to the kitchen and closed the gate after him and even double confirmed tat it was indeed close...

Trial @ Playdays

Today, we brought Amadeus for a trial @ Playdays which is located at Clementi Arcade. He was joined by Ian, Joshua and Javier. He had fun there but when comes to Art & Craft time, he ran away after spatting the paint on the paper twice and refused to join in after that.

Another thing I discovered was that he refused to eat the snacks offered but when I put the biscuits into his own snack container, he ate them. What a funni boy! Anyway, we won't be signing him as it was too far away le.

More & More Steady

Amadeus had been walking more and more these past 3 days...and as he practices more and more, he gained more confidence to walk longer and we can see that he really enjoys himself when he walks...he will laugh and scream in delight and though it was very noisy, hb and I always watch him in delight...

But I foresee that we will be very very busy running after him and I really dread that cos now Amadeus is already making me very 'bo eng' liao wif his crawling and climbing...

Numerous positions in watching TV...

Amadeus is truly a TV addict...no matter what he is doing, his eyes will still be on the TV...
