At 14th Month...

On this day, Amadeus finally master the art of drinking from straw...I gave him a small packet of reduced sugar vitsoy and after a few attempts, he finally knows the 密秘...hahaha...but due to unknown reasons, he would spit out the water whenever he drinks from straw...he finds tat very fun...hmmm...so now I will have to use a hanky to catch the spit-out water...

anyway, still wishing my playful boy:

Fireworks cum Potluck

Thanks to Charmaine for inviting us over to her place to catch a fireworks' display cum potluck dinner. The toddlers were having a great time running, walking and playing. Amadeus too had a great time CRAWLING all over the place..haa haa...he was the only toddler who hasn't master the skill of walking.

Standing tall

Amadeus finally started to stand on his own w/o support on 15th August, though it was only for a few secs. And as each day passes, he started to stand longer and longer. Hb and I will praise him for a job well done by clapping our hands and he will be so elated and join us in clapping. It is indeed a joy to watch him grow and master new milestones as he gets older.

A day of fun...

Today we brought Amadeus to the Zoo as my BIL's gf managed to get corporate pass. We reached there at abt 1pm. We thought that Amadeus will be excited in seeing so many animals but we were wrong. He was not interested at all! He was more interested in looking at leaves, water etc, anything but the animals at the Zoo! Hence, this trip became an outing for us instead.

At abt 3pm plus, Amadeus started to get abit cranky and so, I lowered his stroller seat and he fell asleep immediately (he haven't caught a wink since he woke up in the morning). He only woke up at 5pm plus when we were watching the animal show (forgot the name). He managed to catch some actions by the sea lion before the show ended. Finally, I managed to see abit of reaction from him when the sea lion was performing some stunts. He was also happier and more lively after his nap but it was time for us to leave the Zoo already...

Oh ya, nearly forgot abt some funni moments by Amadeus...After the animal show, we wanna take pics of Amadeus sitting on the sea lion statue but he cried when my BIL put him down. He was scared of the statue...so funni...but we still forced him to take a pic wif my BIL carrying him and standing next to the statue and he still cringed in fright...lol....wat a coward :)

The other funny incident was when we chanced upon the elephants' enclosure while on the way to the exit...But no matter how we forced him, Amadeus just doesn't want to look at the elephants...guess he was scared of the big-sized animals. He tried to see here & there, play wif us and reaching out for the rope in front of him jus to avoid contact wif the elephants...it was hilarious...

After the Zoo, we went to a vegetarian restaurant together wif the rest of hb's family to celebrate my FIL's birthday.
