Hubby is back from U.S.A

Hubby is coming back from the US today. So I brought Amadeus to the airport to fetch him. He was rather happy to see his daddy home...but I felt tat he was happy becos his 'backer' was back to protect him from me...hahaha...

Hb bought a luggage full of stuffs but most of them were for his precious son...look at the evidence below...

Amadeus is 1 Year Old!!!

To our dearest lil baobei,

This time last year, you were just born and now, you are already 1 year old. You were so tiny then....but now, you had grown so big and looked so different from the past. Daddy and I are very blessed to have you and our lives have become more meaningful after your arrival. You are indeed our lil bundle of joy and the apple of our eyes.

We hoped that you will always be cheerful and healthy, and that no matter what happens, we will always be there for you :) Please know that Daddy and Mummy love you very very much.

Persistent Cough

This evening, I brought Amadeus to the PD again...his cough is getting worse and the cough med he had been taking doesn't provide relief to him at all...so the PD gave him 2 types of med - the 1st one is for his cough/phlegm/clear airways (sweet-tasting), the other one is anti-sensitive med (bitter-tasting).

When we reached home, I immediately fed him the med, but due to his struggling and crying, he vomitted out his med again :( And after cleaning him, he began coughing non-stop...I really got a big scare! But luckily, he still managed to give me a smile after his non-stop coughing...his smile somehow settled me and he fell asleep soon after his milk feed.

Hope my lil baobei will get well soon as it is very heart pain to see him sick...

As I'm writing this, I felt so lonely and helpless and jus felt like having a good cry. I'm so tired and had a headache since morning but I cannot go & have a gd sleep as I still need to cook and take care of Amadeus. Both he & I are down wif cough and fever (tink we caught the bug from hb b4 he went to US). He had a temperature of 39.2 degrees and mine was 38.7 degrees. But luckily, his fever had came down after a dose of panadol at the clinic...Blur me, never thought of giving him fever med, as earlier when I gave him some cough mixture, he vomitted out his milk. And we took more than 4 hrs b4 we managed to see the pd...so angry!

Luckily, the pd said that Amadeus just had a flu virus...mine was more serious...I had a bad cough, serious inflammation of the throat and a rather high fever. Ask the doc for stronger med so tat I can recover faster. Hopefully tat by tomolo when both of us are awake, our illness are gone and we can go down for Joshua's b'day party. Hate staying at home on a weekend!

Home Alone wif Baobei

This morning, Amadeus & I sent hb off at the airport as he went to US for business trip. He will be gone for 10 days and will only be back on 28 June...Hopefully I can survive this 10 days taking care of Amadeus alone...maybe i can lose weight this way...hee hee...anyway, I had already planned to bring Amadeus to a few places so tat we won't miss hb too much...lol...

p/s: while bathing Amadeus jus now, he slipped and fell face down on the bathroom floor (which is very hard lor) from his bathtub...I felt so heartpain when I saw his very red cheek, but thankfully, he cried for a while nia so it means, it's not tat painful rite? Luckily, his redness subside very fast and now only a faint red color could be seen on his left cheek and chin...now he is fast asleep le...

Amadeus' 1st Birthday Bash

Today is my lil darling son's birthday bash though his actual b'day is on 24th June. We held the party at the Children's Playroom at Grassroots' Club. Before we go over to the party venue, we went to collect the cake 1st at Pine Garden.

Amadeus started to cry very badly after I left the car to collect the cake and after I'm back, he was still quite cranky and cried all the way to the venue. Since then, he would cry now and then if something displeased him. Haiz....Wat a way to start the party!

Anyway, I hoped that everybody had fun at the party :) Amadeus received alot of presents and ang baos from relatives and frens. Thanks all for the generosity!

Happy 1st Lunar Birthday to Baobei :)

Tenth day on the Fifth month of the lunar calender, which is today, is our lil baobei's lunar b'day.

Hence, I decided to cook mee sua with 2 eggs for him. I just gave him a lil egg white to test for allergy (thank goodness, there is none) and some egg yolks from both eggs...He liked the mee sua and ate more than 3/4 of it...

Bouncer Vs Play Yard

Now as Amadeus is getting more active, he cannot sit still in his bouncer for long. He somehow managed to wriggle himself out from the strapped harness and tried out different stunts on his bouncer...






So we had no choice but to set up a play yard and put him there when hb & I were not free to keep an eye on him...

Gymboree Lvl 3 Trial

Amadeus got a free trial at Gymboree b'cos we signed up for the membership. We went for the trial on 31st May 2008. It was nothing fantastic as bascially we just went from 1 station to another station to try out the equipments. Amadeus also cannot sit still for the songs session so no point in signing up for the class. We can just bring Amadeus for the playgym as it is cheaper. Each playgym costs only $12 per hr and Amadeus could play all the equipments to his heart's content.

Photoshoot

Today we went for a photoshoot at Foto-U studio. It was a fun but tiring 2 hrs shoot. But I'm so sad as I looked so fat in all the pics...haiz...machiam like 5 mths pregnant like tat...but never mind, as long as Amadeus looked cute and handsome can liao....hahaha...

Xavier's & Tricia's B'day Party

Today was the b'day bash for both Xavier and Tricia and their party timing were from 11.30am to 3pm. Xavier's party was at Rio Vista function room, while Tricia's party was at Grassroots' Club, Children Playroom. So it was a mad rush for us to go from one party venue to another. We went to Xavier's party 1st as the cake cutting was earlier than Tricia one. But nevertheless, we had fun at both parties.
